The Palm Beach Police Department is a full service, nationally and state accredited law enforcement agency that defines the highest levels of service and excellence. As a special service for those who wish to report criminal activity confidentially, we have developed a Confidential Reporting Form that can be accessed right here on our website, from the button below. The Palm Beach Police Department will not contact you because we will not know who you are, unless you provide that information to us on the reporting form. This page is not intended to replace the normal reporting process. To report anything of a non-emergency nature, please call (561) 838-5454. In all emergencies - police, fire or medical - call 9-1-1.

RECRUITMENT AND CAREERS

THERE ARE NO POLICE OFFICER RECRUITMENTS SCHEDULED AT THIS TIME. PLEASE WATCH THIS SPACE FOR ANNOUNCEMENTS OF FUTURE RECRUITMENTS.

Police candidates MUST possess an AA or AS degree or at least 60 credits from a regionally accredited college or university. The degree or credits must include basic general education course requirements. Prior experience as a police officer and/or a BA or BS degree or 120 college credits are preferred.
