South Fire Station

In response to the demand for the AARP 55 Alive Mature Drive’s Class, another session has been scheduled. The class will be offered in the South Fire Station training room on Tuesday, February 23rd and Thursday, February 25th from 9:00 am until 12 noon on each day. This six hour class emphasizes driving response to age-related physical changes and declining perceptual skills, rules of the road, local driving problems and safety tips. The AARP Mature Driver Program is available in all 50 states and the District of Columbia. More than 2.5 million mature drivers have completed the course. Auto insurance companies in a majority of states offer discounts to course graduates. Check with your insurance carrier to find out if you qualify. 

The cost is $12.00 per person for AARP members and $14.00 per person for non-members.
