IDENTITY THEFT

On Thurs. 02/04/2010 an officer responded to a condominium in the 2800 block of South Ocean Blvd. reference an identity theft report.  The victim told police she was contacted by her credit card company regarding a suspicious purchase.  Unknown person(s) attempted to use her credit card information to purchase a set of tires over the internet.  The investigation is continuing.

THEFT – GRAND

On Tues. 02/03/2010 an officer responded to the lobby of police headquarters reference a grand theft report.  The victim told police that when using a bank ATM she became aware of the fact that $75,000 had been transferred out of her checking account.  The investigation is continuing.

THEFT – PETIT

On Tues. 02/03/2010 an officer responded to the lobby of police headquarters reference a theft report. The victim told police his trailer was parked on a construction site in the 1200 block of South Ocean Blvd. from 01/19 thru 01/29/2010 during which time unknown person(s) removed the tag and decal.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE

On Thurs. 02/04/2010 an officer responded to the 300 block of Seaview Avenue reference theft from a vehicle.  The victim told police unknown person(s) smashed the rear window of her Jeep and stole a tote bag containing personal belongings.

Charge:         Use/Possession/Attempt to Use I.D. of another person without consent

                   Use of false identification adversely affects another

                   Driving while license suspended/revoked/cancelled with knowledge

                   Driving an unregistered motor vehicle.

MYER, David S., white/male, dob: 08/16/1962 of West Palm Beach, FL

Charge:         Outstanding warrant for failure to appear in court on a traffic charge.  The warrant was confirmed and Myer was taken into custody and transported to the Palm Beach County Jail.  

MUNIZ, Jessica S., white/female, dob: 10/23/1990 of West Palm Beach, FL

Charge:         Outstanding warrant for failure to appear in court on a charge of retail theft.  The warrant was confirmed and Muniz was taken into custody and transported to the Palm Beach County Jail.

BYNES, Orion C., black/male, dob: 12/11/1973 of West Palm Beach, FL

Charge:         Outstanding warrant for failure to appear in court on a charge of uttering a forged document.  The warrant was confirmed and Bynes was taken into custody and transported to the Palm Beach County Jail.
